Barefoot Runner

The Wear Object

A sneaker that forgot where the shoe ends.

Collection 01 — From the Ground Down · Coming 2026. Wishlist members receive release details first.

Product Story

Barefoot Runner merges athletic footwear construction with anatomical toe detailing, creating a hybrid object that reads as both sneaker and exposed foot. With layered panels, laces, textured sidewalls, and a sculpted front toe-box, it sits at the edge of performance design and visual confusion. It is designed to look plausible enough to ship and strange enough to stop the scroll.

In use

Each object should eventually have a short real-life situation: a hand reaching for it, a light turning on, a case opening, an object placed on a table, or a person carrying it. The action should be slow, quiet, and product-first.

Design Notes

The shoe keeps the codes of performance footwear but replaces the most recognizable part of the silhouette with anatomical form. It should feel like something a real company almost made.

You are on the SOLE OBJECTS wishlist. Release details will be shared when Collection 01 is ready.
